The buffet breakfast far exceeded my expectations. I travel around Australia a fair bit for work and this was one of the best buffet breakfasts I've had given the price point of a 3-4 star hotel. Part of the reason is they share the restaurant with Pullman Resort which is a 5 star hotel. So really, one is getting a 5 star equivalent breakfast for staying in a lesser hotel. A few examples - apart from the standard juices (OJ, pineapple, etc.), they had a yoghurt smoothie drink and also a detox drink (Kale,Celery, all things green). They had chia pudding as an option in addition to 2 types of yoghurt and porridge (muesli/oats). Scrambled eggs were very creamy and not overcooked/chunky (consistent quality across both days I stayed there). Could also request eggs done other ways. Bacon was well sauteed. Not a great selection of hot food, but had the standard items. Had a nice section for cold meats, cheese and salad as well.

The Hotel was very nice and has excellent for access to get from your room to the conference center with ease, this was also the case to the facilities as well, restaurant, exercise center, and so on. The front foyer lounge, sitting areas and cafes within the premises was great and very covenant indeed. The bed was extremely comfortable and was as described (was not 2 singles put together) other facilities were great and i can't fault all of the staff that I came into contact with, and were more than accommodating in all aspects indeed. The view to the lake was very nice indeed and was quite clean and tidy.

I have been at Mercure Melbourne Park before and wanted to try it again as it was in a peaceful area yet close to transport and also had a gym. I found the staff very friendly and helpful. Seared salmon with cherry tomatoes and an awesome sauce was great at Windows restaurant. Wine was delicious. Good location which is close to Chapel street. Room was very quiet, spacious and clean, and had good desk space; having a small lounge was a bonus. Very good value.

The staff were fantastic. We travelled with our toddler, who is well behaved but is a toddler so needs to constantly be on the move. The staff were all very professional, friendly and welcoming as we made our way around the hotel, often speaking to our toddler directly or quickly playing peek a boo. This really made a world of difference as we worked to keep our toddler content and travel friendly.

Restaurant meal and drink choice, quality of food and service, the kids meals were very generous. Pool was a winner with the kids to unwind as well as the excellent hours available for it the beds were very comfortable finding our way around the hotel was very easy buffet breakfast was delicious, the kids price was reasonable.
